9. Kitchen and Service Requirements
Clients are required to maintain a clean kitchen and ensure that all necessary appliances, pots, pans, knives, and other kitchen equipment are available for use during the service. The chef will not be responsible for any kitchen-related issues that could affect the preparation process. Clients are also asked to keep pets and children out of the kitchen area during meal prep to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
10. Right to Refuse Service
Proven Plates reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where the client’s behavior is inappropriate, the kitchen is unsafe or unfit for service, or the client fails to provide accurate information necessary for meal preparation.
11. Permission to Film Content
By booking our services, you grant Proven Plates the right to take photographs, videos, or other content during your meal prep or event for social media or marketing purposes. This content may be used on our website, social media channels, or other promotional materials. If you do not wish to have content created, please inform us prior to the service, and we will make the necessary accommodations. We respect your privacy and will ensure any content shared is appropriate and reflects our commitment to quality service.
12. Meal Prep Service Terms
Proven Plates provides meal prep services according to the preferences and specifications discussed with the client. Meal plans, recipe selections, and other details will be confirmed during a consultation, and clients are responsible for any changes to their preferences or scheduling. All groceries, unless otherwise agreed upon, are the responsibility of the client to provide.
13. Payment and Cancellation
Payment for services must be completed in full prior to the service being rendered unless otherwise agreed upon. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled meal prep service will result in a cancellation fee. Payment methods accepted will be communicated during the booking process.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the state of California, without regard to it's conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in California.
